Shutterfly Photo Books - An Easy Way to Cherish Memories

Yesterday I was thinking about a potential gift for a friend who is getting married.  I started looking at old photos and realized that I could print a bunch of pictures of us together (I know both the bride and groom) and put them in a cute little album.  I envisioned a nice album with a space to write a caption for each picture. I started searching the internet and came across Shutterfly Photo Books.  I started a book, not really seriously thinking that I would finish, and I didn't even know the price.  Hours later, I ended up with a really creative final product, and the price was only about $16 with shipping. 

The module they developed for the photo books was really easy to use and the possibilities seem endless.  You could use any number of backgrounds, put different frames around pictures, and choose pre-made templates for each page based on the number of pictures you'd like to place on that page.  You can change the font and the text color and size.

I should be receiving the final product in a week, and I'll let you know how it turned out. It will come with nice soft blue cover and all of the pages will be glossy. I'm really excited about it!  Of course, I still need to get the standard wedding gift (i.e. a coffee maker or something) but it feels nice to give a personal gift as well.

I would recommend this for anyone who's looking to do something crafty as a gift for someone else or perhaps to chronicle your child's life or your own wedding.  It was easy to use, fun, and cheap by my standards.  I might need to make one featuring my niece and nephew, because I miss them so much!
